1. A Hard Reset Function;
Make sure that your printer is directly connected to the power source and there is no surge protector.
- While your printer is on, detach the power wire from the backside of the printer and take out the power wire from the wall socket.
- Get rid of the USB wire if it is there.
- Then, wait for a few minutes and then press+hold the power button on your printer for approximately half a minute to get rid of any additional charge.
- The next step is to plug the power cable directly into the electric wall socket without using any surge protector or extension board.

- Next, you have to tap on the radio tab which tells ‘Manual IP’, and then opt for the ‘Suggest a manual IP address to assign a manual IP address to your HP printer.
- Next, tap on the radio button that tells ‘Manual DNS Server’ and fill 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 under manual preferred and manual alternate respectively.
- Check if the issue has been resolved by rebooting the printer.
4. Uninstallation And Reinstallation Of The Printer Drivers;
- The first step is to remove the USB cord from the printer.
- Secondly, navigate to the Control Panel and visit the Programs and features. Then choose the HP Officejet printer entries and uninstall them.
- The next step is to navigate to the Control Panel and then click on the Devices and printer option.
- Choose all the printer entries and then get rid of them.
- Launch the run dialogue box by pressing the windows and r buttons together and type ‘printui.exe/s’ and shoot the enter button.
- Remove any entries from the Drivers menu present in the Print Server properties.
- Once again open the run dialogue box and fill ‘c:/programdata’ there.
